As co-Founder and co-CEO of the Lucky Shepherd family of companies, Menedis is responsible for strategic vision. Under her leadership, the group has emerged as a leading “new breed” of developer – recognizing commercial real estate as a platform rather than a mere industry. She has positioned the company accordingly with both real estate and technology holdings in their portfolio. Beyond crafting consumer-facing brands, the group fuses crypto investing, tokenization of its assets, innovative sustainable construction techniques, and creating entirely new types of built environments – truly personalized, intuitive spaces that react to and adapt with you throughout the day.
Menedis previously co-founded an orthopaedic device company, where she served as Chairman and CEO, and a healthcare services company, where she served as Executive Chairman. She serves as Director and Advisor to numerous organizations.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Menedis was an acclaimed concert pianist and criminal defense attorney. She has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Central and South America, and has been heralded as possessing “an all-encompassing technique, musical perception, individuality and a security that projects to the audience.” Menedis has claimed numerous national and international prizes. Iconic critic David Dubal has written that she “plays with poetry, passion, and insight.” Menedis brings this same artistic sensibility to her work at Shepherd, ensuring that every aspect of the company adheres to meaningful and exacting standards.
She holds degrees from SUNY, Texas Christian University, and the University of Miami, where she obtained her JD with honors. Menedis is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association (ABA), as well as the ABA Health Law, Business Law, and International Law Sections. A well-respected and sought-after communicator, Menedis has received numerous awards and advises in the areas of technology and the future of real estate development.
